The Lord's hand

The past 6 weeks have been very stressful for me as we have prepared for a move and made our house "show-worthy" each morning for any possible showings (along with sicknesses all around, and the normal crunch of field trips etc at school.  I have felt a great weight on my shoulders to present our house in the best way possible and to get it sold so that we could stop paying two mortgages, as we have been doing for 5 months.
Many prayers, from you and others, have accompanied these tough weeks.  I have had many moments of peace followed by moments of concern...a great big mix of emotions.  I prayed and fasted specifically that we would be able to sell the home by the end of June. We will be away visiting some of you in July and would not be around to take care of the house/yard etc.  We had two couples interested and were down to the final stretch. One chose another house and the other started to have doubts.  I began to feel that it would not work out. A few days ago we received a phone call from our realtor with an update. I was so surprised when he said he had an offer on our house from the couple who had been having doubts.
The realtor thought we had lost them.  They had seemed close to an offer and then started wanting to see a whole bunch of new houses. He spent two night showing them other houses and thought ours was no longer on their mind. They even began talking about how they weren't in a hurry and might even wait until October to find a house.  Days later they called him and said they couldn't get the Tartan house (that is ours) out of their mind. They would go to bed thinking about it and in the morning when they'd question each other about it they would both admit they couldn't get our house out of their head (the Spirit is great isn't it).  They said they felt they needed to put in an offer on it!!!!!  With a posession date of July 28th!
Talk about the Lord's hand visibly working in our life to get this house sold. There is no doubt in my mind that the Lord has made this come to pass.  Our realtor, who is a member of the church, expressed his strong feelings of the Lord's hand in all of it too. We were all very humbled and relieved.
Just wanted to share this wonderful experience with all of you and thank you for your faith and prayers.
