When Mom and Robert were here we went to the air show. It was a very warm day and some of us ended up a bit burned. We enjoyed the finale.

Seeing the Harbertson cousins in Arizona

While in Arizona we were able to visit with our cousins a few times and enjoyed every minute of it. There is something so special that comes with family....the kids have rarely had occasion to see each other, but just knowing they are cousins creates an immediate connection/bond. It was wonderful to see the kids instantly play/chat and be together. We are grateful for that time and the kids can't wait to see their Arizona cousins at the family reunion soon.

Justin's Tball photos from Spring 2010

Justin played his first season of Tball this last Spring. He had two fantastic coaches. Unfortunately Justin broke his arm after only a couple games. We attended each game and he would try to bat with one arm, his swing has never been the same, and would try to fit his hand, cast and all, into his glove. That was not easy. The week of his final Tball tournament his cast was removed and he was able to play cast free. Uncle Neil and Aunt Dawn came to watch one of his games. By the second game the kids were tired, hot and only interested in seeing how high they could throw their cap, or if they could throw sand without anyone knowing. Justin has a good arm and is also very good at fielding balls. We are excited to see how he progresses. He was most impressed with his trophy and Big League Gum given to all the team at the end of the day. Though the trophy hit the ground and broke within minutes of him receiving it, oh well, glue can do just about anything and it looks pretty good.

Here is Kolton, Rawley, Cole and Justin. We carpool with Rawley's family and they've become good friends.



Almost the end of kindergarten and that means sports day for the entire school. Justin was ready for some fun with his friends. He had a good year in Mrs.Seaman's class and got to know some good friends.

Justin was climbing over the baby gate going to the downstairs, while holding a handful of newly designed Lego, and the gate collapsed under his weight and he fell down the stairs....breaking his wrist.
His cast was submerged in the tub therefore hence the second, red cast, a waterproof one. Tomorrow we go to Raymond and get the cast off and get the xray which will hopefully show the bone has healed and he will be cast free!

Time in Arizona

The Phoenix Zoo was a great activity for the kids and the weather was absolutely perfect, which was great for me :) The Seely's and the Hornbergers were the other two families we shared the home with. Such great couples and so comfortable to be with.

Tennis Time

This was her first tennis tournament.



Madeleine has tried something new for herself and the whole Baker family, tennis. Madeleine has been having such a fun time with this new sport. If only we could get the rain to cooperate as there are only outdoor courts so if it rains, which it has been, then we are out of luck. Such good coaches and fun kids too.

Zions National Park

Zions was absolutely beautiful. The weather was perfect for hikes, climbing rocks and just hanging out together.
Olivia eats just about anything from Avocados to soil to sand. She liked the sand we found at Zions and would have continued to eat it had we not stepped in.
