I had no idea that Austin would get so excited when given a bag of goodies. He was actually just going along for the ride (no bag in hand), but that didn't stop people from giving him something sweet.
Madeleine would live off of candy if only we would let her. Grandpa was here for the fun and the kids sure enjoyed every minute of it. They hauled in so much candy. I don't even know what to do with it now...can you donate it? I hate to throw food away.
We all went to Madeleine's school for the Halloween parade. Justin was thrilled to get to be in the parade too. He only wished he could go two times. We went to the mall in the afternoon and trick or treated at the shops. Fun place to see lots of different costumes, in the light.

Justin was Spiderman in the morning and a pirate at night. They were sure so cute. We actually had some trick or treaters this year. We had some last year, but really not many. We hesitated this year to buy much candy as we didn't want to be stuck with it. This year there was not any wind and much warmer than last year! Yeah, the kids stayed out a lot longer and had so much fun.

My advice on the extra candy (if it isn't already gone) is to save it a Ziploc and put in food storage. Even if it gets stale over time, it may still be of some value should the need arise.
You guys sure are a cute family! I'm glad your Halloween was so fun.
