Our little baby turned one on the 2nd. It seems impossible that a year has gone by. He is our little sweet natured boy; happy and easy-going. He has been taking a few steps and becoming more comfortable with standing on his own; having said that he still knows he can motor quickly to anything on hands and knees.
For his birthday we had over Eric's sister Lisa, his Aunt and Uncle (though they feel like mine now too:), his cousin and his family. We had a BBQ and then celebrated with cake and ice cream.
The ice cream was a hit with all the kids. This is Austin and his cousin Anya. What a fun evening. He opened some gifts from the family and really seemed to appreciate the cards and presents. He was interested in opening them, handling them, and playing with them. What a special little boy he is.
