One child from each grade was chosen for an award for their spelling...Madeleine was chosen from her class. Her Aunt and Uncle and cousin attended the award assembly. 
This is Madeleine receiving her award (which included $5 to her delight) from her teacher Ms. Burnett. She has really progressed with her reading and spelling this year. It is so incredible to see the changes in her this past year.
