We met a wonderful family in Vancouver, the Barney's. They were there for two years, but returned to Utah, their old stomping grounds, this past year. Their daughter Sunshine became our first babysitter, so she will always be an important person to my kids. We had a great evening chatting and seeing how much our children have grown and changed in one year. So glad we were able to catch up.
Our good friends from our BYU days, the Noltes, were willing to let us stay with them and play around for a while. The men suggested fishing for the kids (or maybe it was for themselves :), so we headed up to Vivian Park and fished, played, got a little wet, and tried to find shade so we wouldn't melt. So many memories with them; game nights, walks, BYU football games, and of course some yummy dinners. We miss all our friends and the fun we had; a unique time in life.

Okay, I don't know how to edit my post after publishing it, but there was a typo so I just removed it.
Anyway, it was awesome to see you guys and we would love to see the McCallisters sometime. Wouldn't it be great to have a reunion of us all?
