This is our 3rd, or maybe 4th, annual Halloween party with the Orr family. Love this tradition.
Madeleine was so enthusiastic about pumpkin carving this year....she carved 3 or 4 of them and helped Justin with his.
Grandma and Grandpa were here this Halloween and we had a blast having them with us.

I seriously cannot believe this little girl didn't get very sick this night. She started eating candy and did not stop....Sleep deprived and on a sugar high she had a complete melt down when we tried to put her to bed but Eric took over and she conked out fairly quickly.
The kids scored with lots of candy. Austin switched out of his shark costume and into Spiderman which was more comfortable and easier to layer as it was a cold night. Austin had a rough start to the night (costume wasn't fitting quite right, cold hands etc) but once changed he was a different guy and had a good time. Madeleine spent the evening trick-or-treating with Lauren and Justin with Nathan.
We had a visit from a couple of Hutterites. I think this was Sonja's first visit with them. The wife in particular was quite entertaining and full of interesting information. The following day they went to the colony for a visit. Can't beat their prices on chickens and geese.
