When Luke was 2 and a half weeks old we headed to the Royal Tyrell Dinosaur museum. It was about 3 and a half to 4 hour drive and Luke was amazing the whole time. On the way home we were met with heavy snow and took it slowly as to make it home safely. I have to say that the roads we were on were rural and not well traveled so the snow made me quite nervous. I was glad that Eric drove cautiously and we arrived home safely.
A little side note is that on the way there we passed through this little town of Rosebud and could not believe how quaint and well kept it was. We found out that there is a well-known theatre that puts on fantastic productions. There was an Inn that served pie for a couple hours in the afternoon, I was bummed we would not be there while it was open. The town seemed to be out of place in this rural Alberta province and we were excited to have landed upon it. We definitely plan to go back.

This is the group of friends we went with. We went out to dinner and went to the reptile museum where the kids held a python and saw a huge selection of other reptiles. The actual museum stunk, a real dive, but the amount of reptiles was amazing. Definitely a highlight for the kids.
