Artist, Tony Diodati, lives in this house pictured above. We found his work pleasant and a good representation of what we saw on the island. We decided that the originals were a bit more than we could stomach, so we ended up with a nice affordable print.

This is the view near Tony's house of the dunes at the entrance of New London Bay. The print we purchased is of these dunes and Bay.

Eric would make a good bagpiper I think :)

This is at the Preserve Co. We had tasty jams and didn't leave empty handed. No tax on jams, yeah (the tax on most everything else is over 12% ouch).

Brackley Beach dunes and beach. Eric had to create something...I was content to sit and relax in a beach chair but he wanted to make something.

When we arrived in Charlottetown our B&B host told us of the nice long boardwalk not far from where we were staying. She warned us that in two places the boardwalk would abruptly stop and that there would then be a blue line guiding us to where it would begin again. Simple enough you might say, and it should have been...and it was, at first. When we arrived at the first departure from the boardwalk we were happy to see the blue line. We dutifully walked adjacent to the line for about a block when we encountered a green line (no one had told us of a green line, where did this lead?) We then noticed that there was no longer a blue line. It was gone. OK, well maybe they ran out of blue and switched to green, that could happen. So off we went...but time was ticking and we were not getting any closer to the ocean and seemed to be walking quite a distance so we stopped some people, who had no idea where the green line came from, and redirected us back, yes back, a few blocks to where the blue line should have led us. By this point I felt that the blue line had become "picture worthy". We enjoyed the rest of the walk and arrived in a harbor full of touristy stores.

The Colonial Charm Inn is pictured above. Shelley was our host and she was fantastic, very welcoming, informative and provided, with the help of their resident chef Jeff, delicious breakfasts. I didn't have the heart to tell her that though her father in law built our bed it squeaked like nothing you have heard before. Seriously, I woke up more those nights than any other night because hey Eric and I move in our sleep.
