We attended Highland Storm at the Piping College, yes that exists, and it was fantastic. Such talented young kids. There was a vocalist, highland dancers, tap dancers, bap pipers, fiddlers, drummers and a pianist.
There are about 60 Catholic churches on the island and at least double that of other denominations. There is a church around every corner, and large ones too.
This was the building where the leaders of the day, those from the Maritime colonies, as well as those from Upper and Lower Canada, came to develop, and then sign the articles of Confederation.
Victoria Row is a pedestrian only road with lots of cafes and galleries and musicians playing. We had great authentic European style pizza at Castellos, yummy.
